Hope Is Alive at Windsor!

Letter from Windsor Board of Directors:

Windsor Annual Picnic:

With all that we've been through this year and recently, we're still together.  For this the PTA is going all out this year to create an AWESOME picnic.  Please mark your calendar for this Saturday May 11 10 AM - 1 PM at Windsor.  Come join us for Food, Games and Fun - we deserve it!  Food tickets will be going home on Friday for those who RSVP for the event/food.

General Comments:

Based on these  articles from Colleen Wright and Mark Douglas the PCSB is asking us to please come back with something they can approve, and that they have faith that we CAN DO IT!

From what I've seen on Facebook and heard at the PSCB meeting, a lot of parents will be staying because they don't have much to loose or a reason to leave this fight. The alternative of zoned school (no way), the other options will be to teacher at home, private school, or move will give them reason to keep fighting without stressing out.

As for teachers, they would be wise to look into other options. But even if the other options pays more, Windsor will be the place to return to once we get the go ahead from the PCSB since you really don't get into teaching for the love of money. Once stabled, get the word out to the news that the number one place for teachers to work at is hiring and I'll let you guess what happens next.
